Before the wind started blowing

Been a really tough Albacore season. The wind blows out of the west for 4 days and scatters the fish all over the ocean. When it stops the water is too dirty to fish and before it clears up it starts to blow again.

Fat Alberts

The Albacore arrived here with gusto this past week. The east side of the shoals in 45'-50' of water was the place to be.

Drum

Hit the marshes today and was 3 fer 3 on nice slot drum. The lure was a red/white Top Dog Jr. I literally pounded one area while staked out for 2.5 hours.

Spanish

My surgeon injected both my shoulders on Monday and feeling good today I decided to take a ride out to the inlet and see what was happening. The Spanish were all over the place and I donated a 1/2 dozen fly's to the cause. The bite slowed down so I went to the marsh in search of some drum to no avail. I made it back to the dock just ahead of a wicked thunder storm....
